an endeavor of material culture founded by caroline borucki. hindered by social anxiety in her youth, feeling confident came primarily through the way she clothed herself in secondhand items. this curation of goods was provoked by a sensitivity to textiles, a desire for resourcefulness and a compulsion fueled by consumer culture. the everlasting collecting of textiles became focused on woven materiality after pursuing a bachelor of arts in apparel design at dominican university [illinois]. since 2009, maintaining a small batch output has been at the forefront-- along with fair labor practices, as demand for one-of-a-kind goods increases.
